Halbrader, Lawrence (11 August 1910 – 9 February 1975)
Lawrence Halbrader, 64, Rt.1 Dousman and formerly of this area, died February 9
in Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, where he had been admitted the day before.
Mr. Halbrader, son of the late George and Lulu Halbrader, was born August 11,
1910, on Rt. 1 Willard. He received his education in the local schools and
operated a sawmill in this area until he moved to Dousman a few years ago, where
he was in the sawmill business until he retired a year and a-half ago.
Surviving, are his wife, the former Winnie Oswald; and four children: Mrs. Mike
(Linda) Schmidt of Fort Atkinson, Miss Edris Halbrader, Warren and Randy, all of
Dousman; two brothers: John of Rockford, Il., and Victor Halbrader of Willard,
and two grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services were held in Dousman Thursday. The body was brought to
Greenwood where services were held Friday at the Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial was made in the Town of Seif Cemetery.
