Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) – Services were today for Tena I. Boon, 85, of Neillsville, who died Saturday at her home.
Tena Janecek was born in Hillsboro, Wis. and worked at the Hamilton Hotel. She married Peter Boon June 1, 1920, at Greenwood (Clark Co.), and they farmed for many years in the town of Weston before retiring and moving to Neillsville.
Survivors include a daughter, Bernice Zickert, Neillsville; a son, Merrill, Waukegan, Illinois; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery. Gesche Funeral Home handled arrangements.
