Hansen, Anna (26 FEB 1911 – 1 OCT 1971)
Death came to Mrs. Alfred Hansen, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), Friday, October 1,
1971, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been hospitalized for
a seek, being treated for a lingering illness that had bothered her for the past
several years.
Rev. George Becker officiated at the final rites conducted at 10 o'clock Monday
morning at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. Burial was made at Riverside
Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Eugene Mertens, Tom Allen, Ronald Gehrke, Ray Kaz,
Ed Burnett and Bernard Burnett.
The former Anna Brunner was born February 26, 1911 at Thorp, and attended the
Thorp area schools. She was married February 20, 1942, in Thorp, to Alfred
Hansen, who survives her. The couple lived in Stanley until 1958, when they came
to the Owen area.
Other survivors are three sons, Alfred Jr., Stanley; and Donald and Kenneth
Hansen, both of St. Paul, Minnesota; a granddaughter; and a brother, George
Brunner, Chippewa Falls.
