Smith, June Karen (25 SEP 1971)
United in marriage at St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee, on Saturday, September
25, 1971, was June Karen Smith of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Leonard
Przybylski, Gilman. The Rev. Arthur F. Hellert performed the ceremony at 1:00 in
the afternoon.
The bride chose for her wedding a floor length bridal gown of rosepoint lace
over blue. The gown was fashioned with bishop sleeves and a high neckline, with
tiers of lace encircling the storybook skirt, which swept into a chapel train.
Her bouffant veil of sheer bridal illusion was secured to a Camelot of peau
satin accent with blue ribbons. The bride carried a white Bible covered with red
roses and white streamers.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Richard Malecki, was her matron of honor. She was
attired in a street length dress of orchids taffeta overlayed with sheer nylon.
Her bouquet held pink carnations with orchid and pink daisies for accent.
Attending the groom was Richard Malecki. They were attired in dark blue suits.
A reception and dinner were held at the Meadowview Country Club following the
wedding to 150 guests.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Smith of Marshfield, while the
groom's father lives at Gilman.
The newlyweds will make their home at Route 2, Withee, where they are engaged in
farming.
