Miss Marcia Glenzer became the bride of Sansbury Jay Sweeney of Richmond,
Virginia on October 2, 1971 at the Pembroke Manor United Church of Christ. The
Rev. Tracy Floyd officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Capt. U.S.N. and Mrs. Hubert Glenzer Jr. of
Virginia Beach, Virginia, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert W. Glenzer,
Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mrs. L.W. Cattanach of Owen (Clark Co.). The
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sansbury W. Sweeney of Alexandra,
Virginia.
Capt. Glenzer gave his daughter in marriage. The maid of honor was Miss Mary
Manion of Eau Claire, Wis. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Dennis Allen of Annandale, Va.
And Miss Delorah Kaluzny of Virginia Beach.
Mr. Thomas Tripplett of Alexandria, Va. Served and best man, and groomsmen were
Mr. Daniel Harshman and Mr. Richard Simon, both of Richmond, Va.
A reception following the ceremony was held at the home of the bride's parents.
The couple will reside in Richmond, Virginia.
