Hoppa, Jon Arnold (Baptism – 16 February 1975)
Mr. and Mrs. David Hoppa, Rt. 3 Neillsville, presented their infant son, Jon
Arnold, for baptism Sunday, February 16, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe. The
Rev. Ralph Stuebs officiated. Mrs. Joanne Zickert and William Mitte were the
sponsors.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thoma entertained at dinner after the services. Guests in
addition to the sponsors, were Mr. and Mrs. David Hoppa and sons, Mr. and Mrs.
Arnold Hoppa, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Thoma and daughter, the Rev. and Mrs. Stuebs and
family, and Mrs. Hattie Schoenherr, who is Jon’s great-grandmother.
The baby’s great-grandfather, Arthur Thoma of Berlin, was unable to be present.
