Taylor, Rose M. (Martin) (25 JUN 1941 - 24 JUN 2018)
Rose M. Taylor, 76, of Marshfield formerly Spencer, passed away on Sunday, June
24, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Wednesday, June 27,
2018 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Spencer with Rev. Samuel Martin
officiating. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery in Bakerville. Family
and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday at Life Tributes Funeral Home in
Spencer from 4PM until 8PM and again on Wednesday at the church in Spencer from
9:30AM until time of services.
The honor of pallbearer will belong to David Verhalen, Jake Verhalen, Brandon
Taylor, Derek Taylor, Dustin Nickel, Travis Nickel, Dawson Taylor and Barron
Taylor, Landon Taylor and Lance Taylor.
Rose was born on June 25, 1941 in the Town of Sherwood in Clark County, the
daughter of Ambrose and Anna Martin. She was united in marriage to David A.
Taylor on August 25, 1962 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville.
Sadly, her husband Dave passed away July 12, 2016. Along with being a loving
wife and dedicated mother to her seven children, Rose had been employed at the
former Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield working as both a seamstress and in
environmental services.
Her hobbies included cooking and baking delicious foods and desserts, crocheting
beautiful pieces and playing cards with family and friends. She was a member of
Christ The King Catholic Church and a member of the PCCW Saint Theresa Circle.
Survivors include her seven children: Lori (Mory) Stuebs of Marshfield, Dan
(Kris) Taylor of Spencer, Arla (Scott) Carlson of Marshfield, Tim (Cindy) Taylor
of Marshfield, Steve (Danise) Taylor of Chili, Ladonna (Dale) Nickel of
Neillsville and Jerry (Mary) Taylor of Arpin; 20 grandchildren, four
step-grandchildren and six great grandchildren; her siblings: Ron (Marla) Martin
of Pittsville, David Martin of Arpin, Dolores (Lee) Schmidt of Marshfield,
Louise (Joe) Bores of Marshfield, Alice (Bob) Younger of Stratford, Jean
Multerer of Chili, Rita (Don) Multerer of Marshfield and Bonnie (Guy) Carpenter
of Marshfield along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Donald and Thomas, two
sisters Virginia Taylor and Loretta Martin, a sister-in-law Carol Martin, two
brothers-in-law Chester Multerer and Ronnie Nikolai.
