Topping, Allie E. (Luther) (20 FEB 1936 - 23 JUN 2018)

Allie E. Topping, 82, of Pittsville, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Her memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer. Rev. Wanda Veldman will officiate. A Private committal will take place at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday at the funeral home from 9AM until the time of service. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons Jackson Topping, Silas Luther and Myles Luther.

Allie was born on February 20, 1936 in Nebraska the daughter of Guy and Fay (Hewitt) Luther. She graduated from Pittsville High School. Allie was united in marriage to Silas Topping on August 30, 1958 in Minnesota. Besides being a dedicated wife and mother, Allie had been employed at Briggs and Stratton as an assembly worker for 40 years. Allie was also a proud union member and steward before retiring in 1996.

Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, quilting, reading and dancing. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas gambling, traveling and riding roller coasters. Her greatest past time was spending time with her family.

Allie was a member of New Life Christian Church in Marshfield.

Survivors include her son’s Michael (Jincy) Topping of Burlington and Roger (Laura) Luther of New Lisbon; her brothers Richard Luther of Pittsville and Charles (Joanne) Luther of Athens; her grandchildren: Kerri (Jeff) Suhm, Michael Luther, Marie Topping, Michael S. Topping, Jakob (Hailey) Topping and Nerissa Hedge; her great-grandchildren: Savannah, Allison and Miranda Suhm; Silas and Myles Luther; Abriella and Maisyn Topping; Layla and Novalynn Clark and Jackson Topping and her daughter-in-law Sheila Lyrenmann.

Allie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Carrol Luther, her nephew Bob Luther her sister-in-law Frances Luther and her niece Karen Faude.

Arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
