Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Poppe and family of Baldwin arrived Friday to visit
relatives in the area while her husband hunted in the north woods. They, with
her mother, Mrs. Mable Mioland, returned home Sunday evening.
Miss Natalie Scherf, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Himerl of Eau Claire,
returned from a five day tour to the Aruba Islands off the coast of South
America.
Douglas Christophersen of Fennimore visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gay
Christophersen over the weekend, and also enjoyed hunting in the Willard area,
where he was successful in shooting his buck.
Kurt Keskimaki and friend Jerry Hendricks of Platteville visited Kurt’s parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Keskimaki, over the weekend, and enjoyed a weekend of
hunting. Kurt was successful to bag his buck while hunting in the Willard area.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller left Saturday to visit their son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Miller and family, over the Thanksgiving weekend in West
Chicago.
Ray Kelch and friend of Wausau were guests and the home of his sister, Mrs. Elva
Mertens, last week.
