Paul Fricke underwent surgery last Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital,
Marshfield. The past week his daughter, Mrs. Art Lokken, and also Mrs. Burt
Potocnik were here visiting him.
Paul Stasek Sr. and Paul Stasek Jr. were deer hunting this past week on Long
Lake in Northern Wisconsin. Paul Jr. got his buck on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Stasek and son Mark of Winsor visited here over the weekend
at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Art Steager, and with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Paul Stasek and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kuehn. Harold and Ronnie hunted in
the Phillips area.
Mrs. Louis Burhop and Allen visited at the Robert Prock home over the weekend,
and Allen attended the concert at the University.
Mrs. Shirley Kelley’s sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Schroeder of Lake
Nebagamon near Superior, visited here over Saturday, and celebrated a
Thanksgiving dinner together on Sunday.
Adolph Czeshinski was a lucky hunter over the weekend, getting his buck. He
hunted in the Columbia Country, south of Neillsville, and in his party was his
son Teddy from Milwaukee, Bill Martin and Bill Krause.
