Maurer, Marjorie (15 October 1928 – 28 February 1975)
A Neillsville native, Mrs. Edward (Marjorie) Maurer, 46, of Lockport, Il., died
Friday, February 28, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Joliet, Il., following an illness
of approximately one year. Mrs. Maurer succumbed to cancer.
The daughter of Jas. A. Musil of Neillsville and the late Marie (Crothers) Musil.
Mrs. Maurer was born October 15, 1928, in Neillsville and graduated from
Neillsville High School. She completed her education at Stout State University
Menomonie. Mrs. Maurer had resided at Lockport, for the past 20 years moving
there from Sparta.
Survivors in addition to her father, include her husband, Edward C. Maurer, two
daughters: Miss Patricia Maurer and Miss Mary Jo Maurer, both of Lockport; one
son, Richard Maurer, and his wife, Carol, Crest Hill, Joliet, Il., one
granddaughter, Carrie Ann Maurer; and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Janice) Kucirek
of Stratford.
All were in attendance at services and planned to be at the graveside for
interment in Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk on Tuesday, March 4.
