Merath, Irvin Joseph Jr. (15 JUN 1928 - 27 JUN 2018)

Mr. Irvin Joseph Merath Jr., born on June 15, 1928 in Milwaukee, passed away at the age of 90 on June 27, 2018 in Burlington.

Irvin served in the Navy from 1945 to 1949 in World War II. Irvin was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann Merath.

Irvin is survived by his sons, Steven C. Merath and Monte J. Merath; daughter, Lisa A. Koelling; and brother, John Merath.

Friends and family gathered for a graveside service, on Saturday, June 30 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the Garden of Memory Cemetery, N1243 County Road C, Ogema. Fr. Otto Bucher officiated and military honors were conducted by the Spirit American Legion.
