Jenneman, Virginia “Ginny” Rae (Carter) (16 SEP 1941 - 29 JUN 2018)
Virginia “Ginny” Rae (Carter) Jenneman, 76, of Eau Claire, passed away on
Friday, June 29, 2018 at her home.
Ginny was born in Ladysmith on Sept. 16, 1941, to parents, Kermit Carter and
Joan (Blaisdell) Carter. She was married to Kenneth Jenneman on Jan. 30, 1960.
She worked as a receptionist and medical transcriber for many years. She was a
big fan of baseball, and enjoyed reading, flowers, playing cards, napping and
cheesy sci-fi movies. She adored her grandchildren.
Ginny is survived by her children, Stephen (Soozie) Jenneman, Mary (Alan) Lamia,
Michael (Angie) Jenneman, Tracy (Vaughn) Thibaut, Jonathan (Tonya) Jenneman and
Jim (Lori) Jenneman; her brothers, Daniel (Jan) Carter, Christopher Carter, Tim
(Emilie) Carter and Terry (Cheryl) Carter; her sister, Kathy (Ken) Edington; her
grandchildren, Jayme (Justin) Fischer, Jacob Jenneman, Kali Jenneman, Hunter
Jenneman, Makiya Jenneman, Jesse (Samson) Trott and Tori Pritchard; and six
great-grandchildren, as well as other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Joan Carter, her husband,
Kenneth Jenneman, her sisters, Barbara Pendergast and Connie Good and her
brother, Kermit Carter.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday July 6 at Stokes, Prock
& Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona, WI 54720. Visitation
will be held from 3-5 p.m., same day as the service at the funeral home.
Private burial will be held at a later date. Cremation Society of Wisconsin,
Altoona is assisting the family.
