Lange, Wilma Fae (Colby) (13 SEP 1928 - 30 JUN 2018)
Wilma Fae (Bid) Lange, age 89, passed away at Dycora Nursing home in Abbotsford
on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
She was born in Unity on Sept. 13, 1928, to William O. and Hermie Colby. She
graduated from Abbotsford schools and she lived her entire life in Abbotsford in
the family home built by her great grandparents in the early 1900s. She called
herself a carpenter and helped her father and later she was employed in Spencer,
building mobile homes.
She was married to Julius Lange in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1999. She
is survived by a sister, Lorna Nixdorf, in Plover; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald, Leonard and
William Colby; and a sister, Joyce Dray.
A private funeral service for immediate family will be held at a later date. We
want to thank the nurses and staff at Dycora and Hope Hospice for the excellent
care they gave Wilma and also to Life Tributes for assisting the family.
Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home – Spencer.
