Prill, Lynn Marie (30 OCT 1971)

Miss Lynn Marie Prill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Demars, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Spec. 4 Gary Drew Potocnik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Potocnik, route 2, Owen (Clark Co.), were married Saturday, October 30, 1971 at 2 p.m. in St. Hedwig's Catholic Chapel at Thorp, the Rev. William Grelle officiating.

Roger Truckey was organist and Miss Dallas Granquist accompanied Mrs. Dorothy Klabon, soloist.

Miss Debbie Lawrence, Crystal Lake, Illinois, was maid of honor, while Mrs. Judy Pfalzgraf and Miss Debbie Penk, both of Thorp, and Miss Andrea Prill, Crystal Lake, were bridesmaids.

Kelly Dyra, Chicago, Illinois, and Loren Demars, Withee, were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

Attending the groom were Steve Rasmussen, Owen, best man, and James Pfalzgraf of Thorp, Conrad Thorson, Owen, groomsmen. Ushering were Dennis Potocnik, Owen, and Warren Bork, Lake Villa, Illinois.

The bride's gown was floor length and made of angel mist taffeta and Venice lace. With it she wore a bridal veil and carried a hand bouquet of pin-tipped carnations, leatherleaf and baby's breath.

Floor length peasant dresses of pink chiffon were worn by the aides, who had cluster headpieces with pink veils and bouquets of pink roses.

Following church services, a reception took place at St. Hedwig's Quonset Hall, the dance taking place there that evening.

Mrs. Potocnik attended Owen-Withee High School and has been employed at the Thorpedo Restaurant in Thorp.

Her husband graduate in 1968 from Thorp High School and in 1970 from Eau Claire Technical School. He is serving with the U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Hood Texas. The newlyweds are living in Killeen, Texas.
