Luoma, George (1915? – JAN 1972)
One o'clock funeral services were held January 25, 1972 for George Luoma, 56, at
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac.
He is survived by his widow, the former Miriam Puro of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.),
who he married August 18, 1947 at Waukegan, Illinois.
Two daughters also survived, Mrs. William (Katherine) Kaurala, Milwaukee, and
Linda, at home. Two sons, Marvin, stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, with the U.S.
Navy, and James, at home, also survives.
Out of town relatives attending the funeral were: Marvin Luoma, Norfolk,
Virginia; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Niva, Woodlawn, Tennessee; Mr. and Mrs. Toivo
Luoma, Mrs. Mayme Lewis, Gal and Joanne; Mr. and Mrs. Pell Puro, Mark, Karin,
and Bradley, all of Waukegan, Illinois. Also attended were Mrs. and Mrs. Alvin
Kaurala, Mass, Michigan.
