Hoverson, Oscar (07 APR 1885 – 31 JAN 1972)
Oscar Hoverson, who farmed in the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.) and served on
the Park School Board for many years, died Monday, January 31, 1972 at the
hospital in Medford. He was 86 years, 9 months, and 23 days of age, and his
death was attributed to complications of old age.
Funeral services were conducted from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, at
1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 2nd, with Rev. H. Petzold officiating. Burial was
made in the Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery at Curtiss.
Serving as pallbearers were Archie Ackerman, Wilmer Paul, Richard Carlson,
Leslie Sturtz, Wm. Habermeyer, and Grant Herrick.
The deceased was born April 7, 1885 in Wisconsin and was unmarried. He is
survived by a brother, Hobart Hoverson of Medford.
