Connie Wagner has been chosen by the Owen-Withee High School to receive the D.A.R. Good Citizen Award for this district.

The Eau Claire Chapter of the National Society of the D.A.R. has invited Connie and her mother to their March meeting and reception In Eau Claire on March 5, 1972. At this time she will received a little pin to wear in recognition of her selection to this honor.

Connie was chosen to represent Owen-Withee High School because of her outstanding degree of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism to her school and community. Connie made the trip to Washington, D.C. with the National Honor Society last spring, and she was also the Badger Girl for 1971. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wagner, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).
