Roger Wolfram, wife Ruth, and son David of Eau Claire, visited with his Dad, Art
Wolfram, on Sunday, and also at the home of Mrs. Caroline Ammentorp, Withee,
Mrs. Wolfram's mother.
Mrs. Charles Edgar entertained her bridge club on Wednesday, February 16th, with
dessert and coffee served following an evening of contract bridge. Mrs. C.O.
Albert won high score, Mrs. Louis Burhop was second, and Mrs. Richard Laube
third.
Mrs. Joseph Schwitzke of Madison arrived at the home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Burhop on Saturday, and remained for the week, while her husband was
in Florida on business. Also home at the Burhop home for the weekend and
enjoying the snowmobile races at Curtiss were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prock and Kim.
Mr. and Mrs. Royal Bacon returned to their home in Monroe on Sunday after being
here for her father's funeral, Ben Bruchert. Mrs. Bacon has been home for the
past three weeks caring for her parents. Others here for the funeral were Ellen
Ferguson of Milwaukee, who remained here for an extended visit, and on Saturday
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hovland, Mrs. Robert Hovland, Mrs. Margaret Knutson of Eau
Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Redmond of Holcombe, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lutz of
Thorp.
Alice Mauel of Wausau spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of her father, H.B.
Mauel Sr.
