Bryant Foundation (Awards - 2018)
Three former Neillsville High School students have been awarded scholarships by
the Bryant Foundation.
Joseph Michalski, Mindy Schoengarth and Dakota Watton, all of Neillsville High
School were among the group of 23 alumni of 12 schools across the state to
receive scholarships. The list also included Kasey Kopp, an alumnus of Black
River Falls High School.
The Bryant Foundation scholarship was created to assist former students in
Stoughton, the site of former corporate headquarters, and other communities that
have Nelson Industries plants, such as Arcadia, Bloomer, Montello and others.
Renewable scholarships up to $12,000 are offered by the Bryant Foundation
annually for full- or part-time study at accredited institutions. Preference is
given to nontraditional students who did not go directly to college after high
school, but ant to attend college or are enrolled in college. Awards may be
renewed for up to five additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned.
The application period is mid-January to mid-April for any high school graduates
from communities with Nelson Industries locations.
