Miller, Martin (10 MAR 1894 – 17 MAR 1972)

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 21, 1972, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, for a former Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, Martin Miller, 78, of Fenton, Michigan, who died at Fenton Friday of a stroke.

The Rev. Robert Sullivan, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Bert, Vern, Jens, Armin and Edward Miller, and Edward Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Alfred Frost, Emil H. Hansen, Sabin Scherf, Thorvald Carlson, Walter Heideman, and Sam Munson.

Mr. Miller was born March 10, 1894 in the Town of Hixon (Clark Co.). His first wife, Ann, preceded him in death in 1937. His second wife, Sybil, preceded him in death in April 1969. He had resided in Withee until 1939, when he moved to Fenton, Michigan.

Survivors include a son, Robert, Fenton, Michigan; and a brother, John of Chicago, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
