Riemer, John A. (12 JUL 1890 – 6 APR 1972)

John A. Riemer, a former resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died April 6, 1972, following surgery. He was buried on Monday, April 10th at the Lutheran cemetery in Watertown.

Mr. Riemer was born July 12, 1890 at Watertown. He resided on a farm west of Colby (Clark Co.) with his parents during his youth, and then came to Owen, where eh was in the restaurant business for many years, and then left here about 25 years ago, returning to his native Watertown.

He married Nina Tootle in Tampa, Florida on January 24, 1938, who survives. Other survivors are two brothers, Louis and Leoanrd of Watertown; and a sister, Nelda Stefan, Hartford. Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Ernest and Arnold, and two sisters, Meta Riemer and Sadie Kennow.
