Medford Co-operative Creamery Co. topped all records for the history of the
organization by handling four million, two hundred sixty five pounds of milk in
a fifteen day period.
That peak was reached the first half of June. That means that the boys at the
creamery handled an average of 307,217 lbs. of milk per day.
Also there were 9,956 lbs. of cream brought in during those two weeks. In the
past years the creamery made butter exclusively and farmers brought in cream
instead of milk.
