Five inches of rain fell at Medford between Saturday night and Monday morning,
according to the official records of Gordon Kuse, government recorder here.
Rain came down in torrents here each Sunday morning before daylight and more or
less rain fell at other times during the weekend period.
There was considerable damage to the state, county and town roads in Taylor
county.
