Safe-blowers made Rib Lake a visit, the first time in its history, early Tuesday
morning, and blew the door off of the safe of P. F. Marcus’ general store,
wrecking the safe and damaging the contents.
Mr. Marcus does not know exactly how much he burglars got, but as near as he can
estimate, it was two gold watches, three war savings stamps, a gold fob and
about $60 in currency.
