Loeffler, Jerene “Tootie” R. (Frischman) (6 OCT 1933 - 15 JUL 2018)
Jerene “Tootie” R. Loeffler, 84, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, July 15,
2018, at Care Partners Assisted Living, Medford where she had resided for the
past 2 ½ years most recently under the care of Hope Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 19 at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Whittlesey, with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating. Interment will follow
at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Whittlesey.
Visitation will be at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, July
18 and also at church from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on
Thursday, July 19
“Tootie” was born on October 6, 1933, at Medford, to Erwin and Lorraine
(Fischer) Frischman. She attended Whittlesey Grade School and was a 1951
graduate of Medford High School.
On October 13, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, “Tootie” was
married to Marvin H. Loeffler. He preceded her in death July 12, 1980.
Together they farmed for many years, then went on to own and operate the
Chapperal in Whittlesey for 3 years. She worked for Armbrust Meats in Medford
for 30 years. After retirement, she went to work for Copps IGA and County
Market. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. She loved to process venison for all her family and
friends. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and baking. She was a hunter’s
safety instructor for over 25 years. “Tootie” was a member of Trinity Lutheran
Church, Whittlesey and the Chelsea Conservation Club.
She is survived by her daughters, RaNaye Loeffler & Rochelle Mallien both of
Medford, and Roxanne (Jeff) Stibbe of Rib Lake; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Rocky)
Mallien of Medford, Brandi (Brent) Fuchs of Merrill, Wyatt Mallien of Medford,
Samantha (Brad) Hartwig of Medford, Travis Stibbe of Rib Lake; 5 great
grandchildren, Kyanna & Kierra Mallien, Elliana Mallien, Emerie & Liddie Hartwig
all of Medford; siblings Claire “Butch” (Jan) Frischman of Medford and
Sisters-in-law: Jean Frischman of Medford & Josephine Loeffler of Oshkosh.
“Tootie” is predeceased by her husband Marvin H. Loeffler; Son – Douglas in
infancy; parents Erwin and Lorraine (Fischer) Frischman; siblings Dennis, Carol
& Linda Frischman; and Brother-in-law: Vernon Loeffler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be given to
the family for a future designation.
