Mentges, Ruth (1904 – 16 APR 1972)

Friends here received word of the death of Ruth Mentges, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mentges, former residents of this area, who passed away at a Wausau hospital on April 16, 1972, following a stroke. Ruth was born in Longwood Township (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1904, and received her education in Withee schools, and at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, where she became a nurse. She worked in Wausau hospital for many years.

Graveside services were held at the family lot at Riverside Cemetery on Wednesday, April 19. She is survived by one brother, John Mentges of Green Bay.
