Pertunen, Olga (30 JAN 1881 – 06 MAY 1972)

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoper & Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, for Mrs. Henry (Olga) Pertunen, 91, of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Saturday at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen, where she had resided the past five years.

The Rev. Robert Sullivan, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church here, will officiate, and burial will be made at Riverside Cemetery here. Visitation may be made at the Hoeper & Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, beginning today.

The former Olga Lomberg was born January 30, 1881, in Finland, and came to this country as a young girl. She was married September 25, 1906, in Negaunee, Michigan, to Henry Pertunen, who preceded her in death January 7, 1967.

The couple came to the Withee area in 1912 and farmed in the town of Reseburg until retiring in 1962, when they moved into the village of Withee.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Norman, Los Angeles, California; and Mrs. Irne Bowers, Waukegan, Illinois; two sons, Eino and Ray, both of Withee; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
