Jensen, Verlin A. (8 FEB 1921 – 15 MAY 1972)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 1972 at the Footville
Methodist Church, Footville, Wisconsin, for a native of Curtiss (Clark Co.,
Wis.), Verlin A. Jensen, 51, of Footville, who died early Monday, May 15, 1972,
following a long illness.
Burial was made in the Footville area cemetery.
Mr. Jensen was born February 8, 1921 in Curtiss, and received his education in
the Pleasant Hill School and the Abbotsford High School. He was married October
1, 1948 in Waukesha to Fern Waidelich, who survives. The couple resided in
Footville, and her had been employed as a driver for the City Cab Company of
Janesville for 21 years.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four sons, Carly, Dana, Donald, and
James, all at home; two daughters, Linda, at home, and Mrs. Richard Smith,
Chicago; a granddaughter; a brother, Corliss, Medford; and his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Jensen of Owen.
