Parry, Esther (5 March 1898 – 25 March 1975)

Funeral services are to be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home for Mrs. Esther Parry of Neillsville, a city native who died Tuesday, March 25, at the age of 77 following a brief illness. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ and members of the Order of the Eastern Star. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

The daughter of Ole M. and Emily (Neverman) Jackson, Mrs. Parry was born March 5, 1898, in Neillsville and attended local schools. She also attended business school in South Dakota, then returned to Neillsville and worked for Schuster and Campman Attorneys for 20 years.

Her marriage to David W. Parry, former owner of the Sniteman pharmacy, took place September 3, 1933, in Freeport, Il. Mr. Parry preceded his wife in death on May 16, 1968.

Mrs. Parry was a member of Carmi Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star, and of the United Church of Christ, and as a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Violet Biggs of Neillsville; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Agnes Jackson of Madison; and one nephew, Robert Jackson of Costa Mesa, Ca.
