The Nieminens came to the Finnish settlement six miles northwest of Withee in
1913 and farmed there until 1945 when they retired to Florida. Mrs. Nieminen
acted as a midwife and veterinarian at the early settlement near Clark.
Survivors, in addition to her husband John, in Lake Worth, include two
daughters: Mrs. Theo (Tyrne) Kalbon of Lake Worth and Mrs. Martin (Vieno)

Decker, and six great-grandchildren.
