Bogusch, Roberta “Bobbi” Lee (Kerbec) (2 FEB 1936 - 5 MAY 2018)
Roberta “Bobbi” Lee Bogusch, (Kerbec), 82, passed away peacefully in
Summerville, S.C. on May 5, 2018 from vascular dementia.
Bobbi was born on Feb. 2, 1936 in Elmhurst Ill., the daughter of the late
Charles and Jean Kerbec. She resided in Bruce from 1976 until 2014. Upon the
death of her husband in 2014, Bobbi moved to the Charleston, S.C. area where her
son resides. Bobbi was the beloved wife of the late Arnold "Arnie" Bogusch of
Bruce.
Bobbi is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (Tom) Sweet Halpin of Warrenville,
Ill.; her sons, Thomas (Teresa) Sweet of N. Charleston, S.C. and Kenneth Sweet
of Japan, and her step-daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Bogusch McKenzie of Chicago,
Ill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rick and Jim Halpin, Kenny and
Tyler Sweet, Michael and Meghan Sweet, and Kevin and Megan McKenzie.
A memorial will be held for friends of the family on Sept. 9 at Wendy’s Whistle
Stop in Weyerhaeuser on Sept. 9 with a private ceremony following. You may join
the family at the Island Lake Church of Christ for Sunday services at 10:30 a.m.
