Mary (Dieckman) Jones, 84, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

Mary was born on Jan. 19, 1934 to William and Mary Dieckman in Litchfield, Ill. She married Harry Jones on Sept. 25, 1971. She was a very successful business woman. She owned her own property management company, Jones & Jones in Lombard, Ill. She sold the business and retired in 2007. She then moved to Ladysmith to be closer to her family.

Mary didn't have children of her own, however she did have a special love for all her nieces and nephews. Family was always a precious and cherished part of her life. Mary grew up in a Christian home with seven brothers and four sisters. Her faith and love for the Lord continued to be a valuable part of her life. Her beautiful smile and charming personality warmed everyone's heart. Mary lived her life to the fullest She loved to make people laugh and smile.

The family is planning a celebration of life on Sept. 1.

Mary's family is thankful for the special care she received from Ladysmith Care Community for the past four years.
