Nicpon, Caroline L. (Jasmer) (29 JUL 1935 - 21 JUL 2018)
Caroline L. Nicpon, age 82, formerly of Lublin, and Barron WI passed into
eternal life on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Clark County Rehabilitation and
Living Center in Owen.
She was born on July 29, 1935 to Carl and Susie (Lambert) Jasmer at home in
rural Verndale, MN the eighth of nine children. At the age of three, moved with
her family to Maplehurst Township, Taylor County where they homesteaded a small
dairy farm. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a young woman, which
provided the foundation for her life.
On November 5, 1955, she married Joseph Nicpon at St. Stanislaus Church in
Lublin. Together they had 10 children. They divorced in 1972. He preceded her in
death on March 26th, 1997.
In 1972, Caroline moved to Barron where she raised her family, returning to
Lublin in 1989, where she lived until moving in with her daughter, Pauline in
2012. Caroline later lived at Monroe Manor in Barron and most recently at CCRLC.
Caroline is survived by her 10 children: Irene (Bob) King of Frederic, Raymond,
and David of Cameron, Leonard (Tonia), Pauline (Wendell) Kringle, JoAnn (Dan)
Netz all of Barron, Dan (Lori Dahle) of Brill, RuthAnna Lawrence of Cumberland,
Karen Weatherford (Mark Potaczek) of Medford and Joseph (Jennifer Quinter) of
Owen; 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by
two sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Vernon) Jasmer and Marcella (Dale) Jasmer; two
brothers-in-law, Al Anderson and Orville Sherwood; many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant grandchildren, and eight
siblings: Vernon, Dale, Doris (Lawrence) Cardinal, Alvera Anderson, Evelyn
(Frank) Wall, Lorn (Helen), Milo and Marie Sherwood.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St.
John's Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. Tom Myhre will officiate. Interment
will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 12:00
p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.
The family wishes to thank the staffs of Monroe Manor, CCRLC, and Hope Hospice
of Medford for their care of our mother.
