Making their home in Wausau are newlyweds of Saturday, May 27, 1972, Mr. and
Mrs. Dale Christophersen, who exchanged vows before Rev. Roger Tellock at 7
p.m., in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Curtiss.
The former Judith Marie Augustine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar
Augustine of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), and was given in marriage by her father
to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Christophersen, Withee (Clark Co.), in
ceremony for which Mrs. Rhonda Buss was organist, and Bruce Klocke, soloist.
A traditional gown of Venice lace and organza with chapel train was worn by the
bride, along with a bouffant veil secured to a face framing headpiece. She held
a colonial bouquet of white roses and baby's breath.
Miss Donna Augustine, Curtiss, was maid of honor, and Miss Karen Augustine and
Miss Joan Fredrickson were bridesmaids.
They were seen in orchid chiffon formals and matching organza bow headpieces,
and each carried a single long stemmed white rose.
James Rasmussen of Owen was best man. Others in the wedding party were James
Prepeluh, Owen, and Douglas Christophersen, Withee , groomsmen, and Thomas
Lulloff and James Schuette, ushers, A wedding dance and lunch were held at the
village hall in Curtiss.
The bride is employed by Farmers Mutual Insurance at Wausau, and her husband
works for Wausau Homes, Wausau.
