Gerleman, Edith (13 MAY 1972)

The Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Emporia, Kansas was the setting for the marriage Saturday noon, May 13, 1972, of Miss Edith Gerleman and James L. Zuperku. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Gerleman, Emporia, Kansas, and Mr. Zuperku is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Driscoll of rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). The double ring service was read by the Rev. Andrew Jamison, O.F.M.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Theodore L. Offer of Emporia, Kansas, and the best man was Dr. Edward Zuperku of Milwaukee, brother of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were Miss Alicia Gerleman, sister of the bride, and Miss Jan Zuperku, sister of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Randall Edelman and John Clause of Manhattan, Kansas.

The bride was graduated from Ruskin High School and the Research Hospital School of Practical Nursing, both in Kansas City, Missouri. The bridegroom received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University, where he majored in agricultural mechanization, and was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He is assistant manager of Alfalfa, Inc., in Sublitte, Kansas. After a wedding trip to Colorado, they will live in Sublette.

Out of town guests at the wedding, in addition to members of the wedding party and the parents of the bridegroom, were Bonnie Driscoll and Loren Driscoll of Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Grogan, Stillwater, Minnesota.
