Kosharek, Charles E. (20 FEB 1880 – 7 JUN 1972)
Funeral services were held for Charles E. Kosharek on June 12, 1972 in
Bloomington, California. Mr. Kosharek passed away in the Granada Hills Community
Hospital on June 7, 1972. He was buried in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens in
Bloomington, California. He was 92 years old, having been born at Montford,
Wisconsin February 20, 1880.
He was married to Mary E. Paro at Boscobel in 1912. They spent the early part of
their life in southern Wisconsin. They moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1919.
Most of the years in Owen were spent in the employ of the John S. Owen Lumber
Company. They moved to Marshfield in 1942, and he was employed at the Roddis
Lumber Company until he retired in 1951.
His retirement years were spent in San Bernardino, California. During his year
in San Bernardino, he was active in church affairs, having helped organize and
build the Crestview Baptist Church.
He is survived by three children, John of Granada Hills, California; Raymond of
Long Beach California, and Ruth of Pomona, California. He is also survived by
four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother, William, of
Phoenix, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1962, and his brother, August, of
Vesper, Wisconsin, in 1966.
