Hansen, Caroline A. (25 MAY 1902 – 16 JUN 1972)
Caroline Amelia Hansen, 70, of Milwaukee, died June 16, 1972 at St. Michael's
Hospital in Milwaukee, where she was a patient.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 19 at 2 p.m. at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral
Home. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery, with Rev. Elmer Pannier of
Milwaukee officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Sig Sorenson, Clyde Bosacki, Ray Swenson, Bert
Miller, Walter Draheim, Walter Heideman, Richard Nelson and Clarence Nelson.
Mrs. Hansen was born May 25, 1902, in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). She attended the
Withee Grade School and High School. She married Harry A. Hansen on June 8,
1926, in Minnesota.
Mrs. Hansen taught school at North Bright and Longwood Schools for many years.
She and her husband lived at Withee and farmed until 1950 in Frenchtown, and
then moved to Withee, then Abbotsford and Milwaukee, where they have lived for
the past eight years.
Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her husband in October 1971.
She is survived by her son, Floyd Hansen, Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Peter
(Dagmar) Johnson, Clearwater, Florida; and one brother, Wm. Hansen, Welic,
Wisconsin.
