Jensen, Albert (4 MAY 1884 – 23 JUN 1972)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Nazareth Lutheran Church for
Albert Jensen, 88, who died June 23, 1972 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Burial was made in the Nazareth Lutheran Church Cemetery, with Rev. Robert
Sullivan, pastor, officiating. The Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home was in charge of
the arrangements.
Mr. Jensen was born May 4, 1884. He came to the town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.)
and farmed from 1911 until 1958. H ewas married in Omaha, Nebraska March 4,
1911, and his wife, Ellen, preceded him in death in July 1967. He served on the
town of Hixon School Board for a number of years. He was also a member of
Nazareth Lutheran Church, and a member of the Danish Brotherhood.
Survivors include three sons, Earl of Withee; Jens of Bellwood, Illinois; and
Albert Edward, Sauk Village, Illinoi; three daughters, Mrs. William (Edna) Rymko,
Chicago; Mrs. Max Calhoun, Libertyville, Illinois; and Mrs. Ray (Anna) Oakes,
Momence, Illinois; twenty-five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
