Beeckler, Pearle (21 May 1886 – 18 March 1975)
A retired teacher, supervising teacher and normal school instructor, Miss Pearle
Beeckler of Granton, died March 18 in Neillsville at the age of 88. Funeral
services were held Friday afternoon from the Granton United Methodist Church
with the Rev. William Noble officiating. Interment was in the Windfall Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.
Miss Beeckler, a native of the Town of Lynn, was born May 21, 1886, and received
her education at the Windfall School and in Sheboygan and Stevens Point. She
taught in rural schools and at Crandon and Tomah, was supervising teacher of
Trempealeau and Vernon Counties and also, taught normal school.
A member of the Granton United Methodist Church, the Granton’s Women’s Civic
Club and of Carmi Chapter No. 60, Order of the Eastern Star, Miss Beeckler had
also served on the library board and as secretary and treasurer of her church.
Surviving, are a sister, Daphne Beeckler, and a brother, Ben Beeckler, both of
Granton, in addition to nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Jack Pickett, Robert Spry, William Morley, Dan Garbisch, Ray
Keuer and Max Opelt.
Mrs. Jas. Musil was the organist and Mrs. William Noble, the soloist.
