Camp Lejeune, North Carolina – Marine First Lieutenant John J. Poehnelt, son of
Mrs. John S. Poehnelt of Route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), has completed the
Combat Engineer Officers' Course at the Marine Corps Engineer School, Camp
Lejeune, North Carolina, it was announced recently.
He studied the techniques at construction management for airfields, bridges,
power stations and refrigeration depots and demolitions, camouflage, field
fortification and land mine warfare.
