Grube, Marcella Ann (1 JUL 1972)
Miss Marcella Ann Grube, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Grube Sr. of route 1,
Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Roy D. Sobeck of route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co.), son
of Mrs. Delma Sobeck, route 1, Wonewoc, were married Saturday, July 1, 1972.
The Rev. David Pankow performed the 2 p.m. nuptial ceremony during which the
bride was given in marriage at the Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.
She wore an A-line white floor length gown of daisy lace with train, and a four
tiered floor length veil. Her bouquet contained white carnations and yellow
roses entwined with baby's breath.
Miss Marilyn Grube, Abbotsford, was maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were
Miss Marlene Grube, Milwaukee; Miss Kae Hanko, Wonewoc, and Miss Harriet Dix,
New Glarus.
They donned green dotted Swiss frocks and sloppy white hats, and carried baskets
of white daisy pompons and plain pompons tinted green.
Included in the wedding entourage were Raymond Sobeck, Colby, Test man; Victor
Grube Jr. of Owen, Randy Sobeck, Curtiss, and Richard Hanko, Wonewoc, groomsmen,
and Rocky Sobeck, Wonewoc and Randy Grube of Owen, ushers.
The wedding reception was held in the church hall and the wedding dance took
place in the Curtiss Hall.
