Mrs. Luella McElroy left Wednesday for her home in San Gabriel, California, after spending the past six weeks visiting her mother and sister, Mrs. A. Thiebert and Lucy.

Mr. and Mrs. Uno Bakke returned from a 10 day vacation and sightseeing trip on Wednesday, which took them to northern Wisconsin, Duluth, Minnesota, and on into Canada. They also visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Krogman and family in Aubadon, and their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. George Bakke in St. Paul, and also attended a baseball game in Minneapolis.

Jens Andersen celebrated his 85th birthday Saturday evening by entertaining several of his friends to a birthday dinner at the 11th Frame Dining Room.

Mr. and Mrs. John Jalling and Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck and John Jr. visited Mrs. Rose Leland in Eau Claire Thursday, and all enjoyed a picnic at Carson Park.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom King and son of Colorado Springs, Colorado, returned to their home on Saturday, after spending a few days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mr.s Fred Beck.

Mrs. Alfred Laursen of North Canton, Ohio, returned home after visiting the home of her mother, Mrs. Chris Frost and brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thorvold Frost and family.

Dennis Nielsen and James Sessions of Chicago Heights, Illinois, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Paulsen and Hans Paulson at Perkinstown for a few days.
