Auseth, Teresa (17 JUN 1940 – 26 JUL 2018)
Teresa Auseth, age 78, of Weston, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at
the Rennes Health & Rehab Center in Weston. Funeral services were held on
Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp. Rev.
Baskaran Sandiyagu officiated and burial followed in East Thorp Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the
funeral home.
Teresa Czarnecki was born on June 17, 1940, in Poland, the daughter of Stanley
and Frances (Anyzewski) Czarnecki. As a young child, Teresa's family imi grated
to the United States and settled on a farm south of Thorp where she was raised
and educated. After completing her education, Teresa was united in marriage to
Ronald J. Pagel, Sr. at the Courthouse in Neillsville, WI. They later divorced.
She later moved to Milwaukee and married Henry "Hank" Auseth. While living in
Milwaukee, Teresa worked for the Huffy Bicycle Co. for a few years until
retiring.
She was a fantastic homemaker who always had fresh baked bread ready when her
children would come home from school. Additionally, she also enjoyed sewing and
gardening.
Teresa is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Randy) Quinn of Wausau; three
grandchildren: Troy Klapatauskas, Kayla Wisnosky and Karly Wisnosky; two
great-grandchildren: Zach Klapatauskas and Bentley Breslow; one sister, Irene
Slivicki of Wausau; one brother, Richard Czarnecki of Wausau; nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ronald J. Pagel, Jr.; her
husbands: Ronald J. Pagel, Sr. and Henry Auseth; two brothers: Chester and
Joseph Czarnecki; and four sisters: Regina Harycki, Helen Tosrpancryk, Genevieve
Zloty, and Stephanie Plesniak.
