Luedtke, Helen (30 JUL 1887 – 1 SEP 1972)
Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Peter's Church in the Town
of Hamburg for Mrs. Paul Luedtke, 85, who died at the Marshfield Convalescent
Center on Friday, September 1, 1972.
The Rev. Roger Tellock, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Curtiss,
officiated, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Luedtke was born Helen Huehnerfuss, July 30, 1887, in Eau Claire County.
She spent most of her life in the town of Hamburg after being married to Paul
Luedtke in October 1923, in Marathon County. Her husband preceded her in death
on July 2, 1959. For the past 11 years prior to her admission to the
Convalescent Center, she had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Delmar Augustine, in
Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.).
She is also survived by another daughter, Mrs. Herbert Uttech, Dickinson, North
Dakota; one sister, Mrs. Herman Borchardt, route 2, Marathon; and a brother,
Martin Huehnerfuss, Wausau; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
