Soczka, Mary Louise (2 SEP 1972)
Saturday, September 5, 1972 was the wedding day of Miss Mary Louise Soczka,
route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Henry A. Awe, route 1, Owen (Clark Co.).
Marriage vows were said by the couple, who parents are Mrs. Irene Soczka,
Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Awe, route 1, Owen, at 2 p.m. in Holy Rosary
Catholic Church, Owen.
Pator of the church, the Rev. George Becker, officiated, and Mrs. W.J. Mahoney
Jr. was the organist.
Miss Carol Kaz, Owen, was maid of honor in the wedding party, and Mark Johnson,
Withee, was best man. Glendon Johnson did ushering duties.
After the church services a reception for the couple and their wedding guests
took place at the Longwood…( a part was missing)… route 1, Owen, where he is
engaged in farming.
Mrs. Awe graduated from Athens High School,a nd her husband attended Owen-Withee
High School
