Rev. Duane Morschek of Kalispell, Montana arrived Friday to visit the home of
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Beck, and conduct evangelistic services at the
Alliance Church. He will be here two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Scheel of California, who lived in their trailer home in the
Owen trailer park the past six weeks while visiting relatives and friends in the
area, have now left on their return trip home.
Dennis Liepke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Liepke, left Wednesday for Milwaukee,
where he is enrolled in pre-dentistry course at the University of Marquette. He
attended Holy Cross College at Merrill last year.
Jean Barager arrived home on Friday from a two month vacation spent touring
Europe, and enjoyed the weekend with her parents at their cottage on Round Lake.
Monday she left for Green Bay, where she began her teaching duties at Bayport
High School on Wednesday.
Weekend visitors at the Roy Svenson home were Mrs. Svenson's mother from
Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, and her sister and husband, and the Robert Merolla's
daughter, Karen, from Asheville, North Carolina.
Donna Lehnen has transferred from WSU, Steven Point and will attend Mount Mary's
College in Milwaukee. While attending school there she will stay with her aunt
and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Al Platta.
