Lentz, Sigmund (1909? – 13 AUG 1972)

Funeral services for Sigmund Lentz, 62, were conducted from the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 23rd Street and 53rd Avenue, Cicero, Illinois, on august 16, 1972.

During the services Dorothy Klabon served as soloist and his grandsons as pallbearers.

Interment was made at Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Hew as a longtime resident of the Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) area. He later sold his farm and moved to Cicero, where he worked until the last several years, when he became sick and lived there until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Frances (Samek) Lentz; three daughters, Dorothy Buchholz, Chicago, Illinois, Adeline Krug, Withee, Janet Bales, Deerfield Beach, Florida; one son, Rhinehart Lentz, Downers Grove, Illinois; one step-son, Frank Samek, Wooddale, Illinois; one step-daughter, Julia Blume, Spenard, Alaska; one brother, John Lentz, Chicago; twenty-three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
