Neff, Earl L. (20 NOV 1894 – 19 OCT 1972)

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Earl L. Neff, 77, of rural Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at 10 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 1972 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Madison.

The Rev. Robert H. Sullivan, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee, officiated, and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery. Military rites at the graveside were conducted by the Greenwood Legion Post.

Mr. Neff was born November 29, 1894 in Menasha, came to the Withee area in 1905, and spent his entire life farming in the town of Longwood. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two nephews and three nieces.

A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
