Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Quade of Beaver Dam spent Saturday at the home of Mrs. Carla
Lien.
Mr. and Mrs. James Mowery of Delavan and Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Harris of Stevens
Point called on Mrs. Edwin Peterson Tuesday afternoon. They had attended the
funeral of their uncle, Halvor Becken, at Colby.
Mr. and Mrs. John Lokken visited several days at the home of their aunt and
uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Northrum, at Superior, and with their son, Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Lokken at Yellow Lake.
The Midway Card Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Arnold Bakke on
Tuesday. Nine members were present. Guests were Mrs. Robert Bakke and children.
Attending the funeral of Mrs. Mary Redig at Loyal Monday were Mr. and Mrs. John
Kopps and Mrs. and Mrs. Harry Kopps. The latter is a sister of Mrs. Redig.
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Ackerman and Martha Harmel attended the funeral of their
cousin, Halvor Becken at Colby on Monday.
